The couple moves into an apartment with a sinister past. She dreams that she was raped by an unknown monster, and when she becomes pregnant soon, she is haunted by paranoid notions of endangering her unborn child.

The Exorcist

This popular psychological horror about a girl possessed by the devil was allegedly filmed according to an actual event. In reality, it was a boy, but the filmmakers decided to change his gender in the film to protect his identity. Even today’s generations are watching the popular scene in which a girl strapped to a bed turns her head 360 degrees.

What you may not have known: The famous scene taking place on the bed was accompanied by a sound effect, which was allegedly created by spinning an old leather wallet full of credit cards in front of a microphone.

The Shining

The eighties started with one of the greatest horror movies ever made. The directors decided to film Stephen King’s psychological thriller. Exactly 20 years after the filming of Psycho, a new bathroom scene came into play. The killing tool this time was not a knife, but an axe. Unforgettable is the message: “Here’s Johnny…”
