Good news is that the weeds season 8 is confirmed to begin production in 2012.

Weeds Season 7 dvd begins with perhaps the most drastic changes yet – beginning with a three year time-jump that picks up with Nancy wrapping up a jail stint, and now living in New York.

Weeds dvd 1-7 finale cut to black after the sound of a gunshot. Obviously Nancy's brains ended up all over the place and Season 8 will be about Silas, Andy, and Shane fighting each other in a nasty battle to take over the drug business Nancy built up.

The season 7 ends on a cliffhanger where crosshairs from an unknown gunman are focused on Nancy, we here a gunshot and the screen goes black. If the show continues, obviously they won’t kill Nancy, but if the show doesn’t continue we can leave it open to interpretation.

The payoff on Nancy's jailhouse lover giving her oven mitts was pretty solid. I have to admit, I'd forgotten about that bizarre gift, and was very happy to see it come back so quickly by the episode's end.

If the show comes back I like that they’re back in suburbia. It sort of a circle of life thing. We would like to see how nancy crazy in next season, and this may have just been the series finale. What did you think, weeds fans?
